Staff and their roles
The most senior employee is Bill Dawson who is the Parish Manager/Clerk. Bill is the Clerk to Council and the Proper Financial Officer responsible for management of the Council’s financial resources and assets. He is also responsible to Council for the management of the team of staff whose details are given below.
The team comprises:
Dominic Warner the Estates Manager. He is responsible for the management of the Council’s property portfolio and for maintaining contact with Milton Keynes Council and others to address issues which may arise, for example, waste problems, abandoned cars, etc. Dominic also engages in project work with and for working groups of Councillors.
Janice Walker the Administration Manager. She is responsible for providing administrative support to Council and the Clerk. She is Clerk to a number of Committees providing full support to them as they carry out their roles. Janice also engages in project work with and for working groups of Councillors.
John Mclinton, Environment Officer. John is responsible for the maintenance of the environment within the Parish including managing both allotment sites and overseeing the care of the pond at Woolstone. He monitors the estates, notes and reports environmental problems e.g. graffiti, dumping of litter, general rubbish, etc. John is also the Health and Safety Advisor to the Clerk and Council.
Elaine Webb, PA/Administration Officer/Members Services. Elaine is the PA to the Parish Manager/Clerk and provides secretarial and administrative support to him. She provides similar support as required to all Councillors, is responsible for the administration of the office and is a member of the editorial group which produces “Home Ground”, the Council’s quarterly magazine.
