Parish Meeting 2009

On Tuesday 21st April we hosted the Annual Parish Meeting.  This is not a Council meeting but one at which you, residents of the Parish, have the opportunity to come and talk to us about anything relating to living in the Parish.

 

We always try to have a speaker who will be of interest to you and, this year, we were very lucky that Lorna Caldicott, Principal of the new Milton Keynes Academy was able to join us.  She gave a very lively, informative and enjoyable presentation and had all of us working in return!  Lorna went away with a mass of information about what we, the public, would be looking for from the Academy.

 

There was then time for questions to Councillor John Goss, Chairman of the Council, after which there were modest refreshments which offered all 50+ people at the meeting the opportunity to talk to CPPC Councillors and Officers.

 

All in all it was a very successful event followed by the normal monthly meeting of the Parish Council.
